The pleasure of the drive-in movies was from the acquaintances in other cars and the visits to the concession stands. The movie quality itself was very mediocre, the sound was full of static and the movie screen was not much better.

Barnyard - Excited craziness set on a farm where, after sundown, the animals turn the barn into a loud nightclub. James is Otis, a young cow who is very mature, much to the disappointment of his dad, Ben Elliott, who keeps watch for predatory coyotes when the others party. Dom Irrera stands out as Duke the Dog. Cast includes Courtney Cox, Sam Elliott, Danny Glover, Wanda Sykes, Andie MacDowell, David Koechner, and Laraine Newman. (90 minutes, 2006)

Only You - Pleasant confection in reference to a youthful woman who invests her entire life looking for her perfect mate whose name was summoned up on a Ouija board. Cast includes Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey, Jr., Bonnie Seek, Joaquim De Almeida, Fisher Stevens, and Phyllis Newman. (108 minutes,'94)

High Crimes - Lawyer Claire Kubik has just been told that her husband is not who she thinks he is. Tom Kubik is really Ron Chapman, and he is on trial in the military justice system for the killing of villagers in Latin America. Claire takes on the case but just what will she find out, as the truth is unraveled?

The All-American Boy - Messy drama in reference to Olympic hopeful Voight's effort to be a victorious boxer; eye-catching locations of northern California, but that is all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes,'89)

The Music of Chance - A thriller in regards to clairvoyant, suicidal Ivanek, powerless to command his powers, who moves his bad dreams to psychiatrist Harrold and causes commotion in a clinic. Cast includes James Spader, Mandy Patinkin, M. Emmett Walsh, Charles Durning (98 minutes,'93)
