Belles on Their Toes - Here, Myrna Loy plays a widowed architect who will crusade to rear her aging brood. 20th Century Fox back lot seen at its best in recollecting early'00s America. Clifton Webb makes a succinct appearance at the finale. Cast includes Myrna Loy, Jeanne Crain, Debra Paget, Jeffrey Hunter, Edward Arnold, Hoagy Carmichael, Barbara Bates, Robert Arthur, Verna Felton, and Martin Milner. (89 minutes,'52)

Live Flesh - Lovesick child of a prostitute is jailed for unintentionally shooting and paralyzing a cop. Original narrative of teenager's mistake that takes him to prison. Spanish language. Cinematically stimulating, albeit, with a bravura finale. Cast includes Pedro Almodovar, Liberto Rabal, Francesca Neri, Javier Bardem, Angela Molina, Jose Sancho, and Penelope Cruz. (100 minutes,'97)
