Discover Seven Great Film Assessments For You To Choose From

By Cory Vang

The first video's came out in the'80's. At the beginning the video stores also offered rentals on VCR's until most individuals got their own. Lugging home a huge Videocassette recorder and a video replaced going out to the cinema but it wasn't any more handy.

Adam's Apples - This movie is a peculiar dark comedy about two very diverse men who have a clash of wills. It is a recently developed religious zealot versus a hard core neo-Nazi criminal. The battle of good vs. evil is on. The key stars are Ulrich Thomsen, Mads Mikkelsen, Nicolas Brom, and Paprika Steen. (German-Danish-comedy directed by Anders Thomas Jensen)

Number One with a Bullet - Carradine and Williams do well in this rather standard action movie where we have hostile investigators out to oust a drug kingpin. Cast includes Robert Carradine, Billy Dee Williams, Valerie Bertinelli, Peter Graves, Doris Roberts, and Bobby DiCicco. (101 minutes,'87)

The Indian in the Cupboard - A boy (Scardino) acquires an old chest as a birthday gift, and finds out that when he sets a toy Indian inside and turns the key, the Indian comes to life. Then he sees that the Indian is not a toy, but a authentic individual. Troubles follow, particularly while his best playmate brings to life a toy cowboy. Cast includes Hal Scardino, Lindsay Crouse, Richard Jenkins, Rishi Bhat, and Nestor Serrano. (96 minutes,'95)

Airheads - 3 metal heads with toy guns unwillingly take a radio station prisoner, wanting to get play for their one and only demo tape. Not precisely the most complex subject to satirize, although the script is weak anyway. A somewhat vigorous direction and compact running time help a bit. (91 minutes,'94)

Borderline - Unusual thriller comedy in which Los Angeles cop Trevor tries to collect proof contrary to cunning drug smuggler Burr when mixing with hard gentleman MacMurray in Mexico. Starts out favorably, although eventually slows down in silliness. Burr makes a articulate scoundrel. The cast includes Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, and Roy Roberts. (88 minutes,'50)

Afurika Monogatari - Guide Sayer crashes his airplane in wilds of Africa and comes upon a game conserve. Even old Jimmy is dreary. The movie was filmed in Kenya. Cast includes James Stewart, Philip Sayer, Eleanora Vallone, and Heekura Simba. (120 minutes,'81)

Big Trouble in Little China - Buddy Blowhard trucker Russell finds himself at large in Chinatown, while a friend's fiance is abducted right in front of his eyes. High tech Indiana Jones fashion escapade has huge tongue-in-cheek conduct, however everything else in reference to it is large, too including Russell's John Wayne strut. Excellent electric music score. The cast includes Kurt Russell, Kim Cattrall, Dennis Dun, James Hong, Champ Wong, and Kate Burton. (99 minutes,'86)

Try it out. It's effortless and handy. You can pick and choose any motion picture you want, anytime that you want in the privacy of your own home. Downloading movies is better than everything we have seen since it became doable to watch movies at home back in the'80's.
